Haute Route - Hiking From Arolla to Lac Bleu to Les Hauderes to La Sage
We were headed to Lac Bleu, but there were two possible paths. One was low and easy and one higher and harder. We debated which to take, because Jennifer’s injuries were amassing. Her arm was sore from the fall on the TMB, the site of her ankle surgery was acting up, and her Achilles was hurting. In the end she said that we should go up the higher path, but this was more because I wanted to go than she felt like it was the better choice. This turned out to be a bad decision because, although the trail was not physically challenging, it was treacherous underfoot. The trail did have nice views, including many great were the wildflowers, plenty of new IDK’s (I Don’t Know what it is).
