Photography Tips for Trekkers
When I first wrote this photographic primer for trekkers and hikers the world of photography was turned upside down by the advent of high quality digital equipment. People became obsessed with mega pixels, pixel peeping, and the constant bombardment of new equipment. Still the basic process of taking photographs didn't change. Good photographs are the result of the combination of composition, exposure, depth of field, optics, and film speed. Study these basics and then check out our primer the issues digital photographers face as well as an article on the troubles many trekkers face when trying to capture images at high altitudes. By stepping through our photographic primer, you too can be taking shots like the pros.
