While we wish we could personally cover all of the amazing treks and hikes in the world, we can't possibly come close. That's where you can help. If you've completed a multiday trek/hike that we haven't covered, especially if it is one that we have listed but not completed or scheduled for completion, please reach out to us. We'd love to highlight your adventure with a photo essay. Please contact us by sending an email to JeffSalvage@GreatTreks.com with the basic information pertaining to the trek or hike you are interested in covering. If we don't immediately respond, it's probably because we are out on the trail, but we will respond to all requests as soon as possible.

In general we'll need the following information about each trek, although we can help you research some of the information if you don't have it.

  1. A general description of the trek's highlights in a narrative form from one to four paragraphs long.
  2. The number of days trekking, this may contain a range.
  3. The total distance of the trek
  4. The max elevation of the trek (meters or feet, we can convert)
  5. The starting elevation of the trek (meters or feet, we can convert)
  6. Price Range Independent (do not include travel costs to get to the start of the trek)
  7. Price Range Outfitter(do not include travel costs to get to the start of the trek)
  8. Challenge Level
  9. A narrative paragraph describing the orientation of the trek.
  10. A bulleted list of the trek's highlights
  11. A royalty-free map/sketch of the trek. (If you don't have one that's ok).
  12. An elevation chart of the trek (If you don't have one that's ok).
  13. A list of the best months to walk the trek.
  14. A description of the options for guided versus independent treks/hikes.
  15. A paragraph describing the access/local information for getting to the trek
  16. A day by day account, with photographs (please limit the photos to 50 600 x 400 pixels), of your trek.
