Gear Heads - Shelter

If you are not sleeping in guest houses or refugios then you’ll need a tent, tarp or bivy bag to sleep in at night. Tents come in many prices, shapes, weights and sizes. We tend to travel with a small two person tent. Make sure there is a compartment to shelter your belongings if you don’t want to store everything in your tent at night. Be aware it’s not just your food critters might snack on, so be prepared to hang everything not covered by your shelter.
